50. Skeptical Inquirer Editor, Ben Radford
2008-08-07 Alex TsakirisGuest: Ben Radford, managing editor of The Skeptical Inquirer magazine discusses what separates skeptics and “believers”, psychic medium research, and psychic detectives. During the interview Radford draws a distinction between scientific investigation of paranormal claims and mere stories:
“I like a good story as much as anybody. I like ghost stories. I like tall tales, but don’t call them science. Don’t call them reality if they’re not. What I’ve found is that the believers far more often ignore the skeptical answers than the skeptics ignore the believer.”
